I have been teaching piano for the last 4 years, maintaining a part time studio in the Vancouver Eastside. I'm flexible with time, as I teach both at my studio or door to door at student's homes.
My goal is to provide a fun and interactive piano lesson for beginning to senior level piano players. Students of all ages are encouraged to express their own point of views and be creative during all my lessons. However, weekly practicing IS involved =)
In the past I have taught classical music from the RCM repertoire and also teach a vast collection of popular music heard on the radio stations and concerts today.
Musical Qualifications include:
Royal Conservatory of Music: ARCT Piano Teachers Diploma (1st Class Honours)
Royal Conservatory of Music: ARCT Piano Performers Diploma (1st Class Honours)
I have had experience competing the Clef, Kiwanis and Coquitlam Music Festivals having won numerous classes in classical and baroque music.
